George Clooney has signed on to star in Men Who Stare At Goats.

The film, that will surely be retitled if it does get made, will be directed by Grant Heslov. Heslove is also Clooneys producing partner in Smoke House who are making the flick.

The script by Peter Straughan, is an adaptation of British journalist Jon Ronson's book about the U.S. Army's First Earth Battalion, a unit that was to use paranormal powers. The title refers to the notion that one can kill a goat by staring at it.
