Archeologist and university proffesor Indiana Jones must retrieve the mythic Lost Ark of the Covenant before the it gets into the hands of Adolf Hitler who plans on useing its power to guarantee his global conquest.

What can I write about this classic which not already has been said. For surely no one could have to avoid Indiana Jones? It´s one of the most profitable pictures which ever has been done. The story about the reckless archaeologist Indiana Jones hunting against the Nazis after the lost ark, is a grandiose adventure film which can be seen by all. Well, maybe not the smallest.

Steven Spielberg wanted to make a movie that reminds him of the old adventure films he saw when he grow up. "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was a parody on its predecessors, but was also much better than them. I think however that it´s little slow at times, but you never be bored. The phenomenal opening, the tumult at the airplanes and the following car hunting, is in my opinion this films highlights.
